Many thanks to those who have completed the survey sent out recently. The results have highlighted a number of areas for improvement as well as events already held that members would like to see more of.

To summarise, the average score given on how you’d rate events in 2018 was 6.68.

Hopefully this time next year we will see an increase in this! The second question asked what events respondents enjoyed in 2018 and there were a number of mentions for Quiz night, Race night, Bavarian night, End of Season Christmas party as well as BBQ’s throughout the summer. Furthermore, the third question asked in general what evening respondents would like events to be held in the off season and Saturday was the most common response.

Finally, respondents were asked what events they’d like to see in 2019 and how the club can drive attendance. We received a number of responses highlighting the need for more race and quiz nights and on the back of this we will be holding a quiz night at the end of February (more details to come soon!)

There were also a few mentions of a summer BBQ similar to the memorable one the club used to hold on a yearly basis – you may know this already but the club will be looking to hold this again in 2019! We also hope that the new communications system in place will mean that members are given plenty of notice for events.

With the use of flyers detailing the dates for events in 2019 being issued to the village as well as members we hope to drive attendance up and have a fantastic year at Horton House CC.
