Change of H.H.C.C. Junior clothing suppliers for the 2019 season

As a Junior Section Committee we have undertaken a review of the Junior club kit clothing suppliers, incorporating feedback received during 2018, including;

"They never have my sons size in stock" "The sizes come up ridiculously small" "£5.99 delivery charge is a bit steep" "The kit is very expensive"

This valuable feedback has allowed us to look for a supplier who can address your concerns and meet our requirements:
• Local so that you can go into the store and try the clothing on - ensuring correct sizes are purchased.
• Affordable.
• No delivery charge for collection
• All sizes available and no supply issues
As a result the Junior Section Committee have decided to switch to a new club kit clothing supplier for the 2019 season. (Note: The current supplier Allrounder Cricket will continue to supply club kit for the Senior section and there are no plans to change this anytime soon).

Therefore, we are pleased to announce our new Junior section club kit supplier is John Henry Sports. John Henry have a shop conveniently located at 207 Wellingborough Road, Northampton, NN1 4ED and are very experienced in dealing with your needs as they are already the chosen suppliers for several large cricket clubs in Northampton.

To ensure the clothing supplied is of a high quality but also providing value for money the club kit will be from the Gray-Nicolls range.

Obviously, if your child already has any of the Adidas clothing supplied by the Allrounder service please continue to use it. Similarly if your teenager is playing adult cricket please feel free to continue to use the Allrounder service.

Club kit requirements for players representing Horton House Cricket Club for the 2019 season.

For 2019 in an effort to both promote the club and to further establish out highly regarded reputation throughout the county, the Junior Section Committee have also decided that all players representing H.H.C.C. in competitive matches, must wear a Horton branded shirt & cap as a minimum this season.

This minimum club kit requirement is another reason why we have chosen the local supplier John Henry, as you can go into store and select a size with “growing room”, helping avoid to frequent an outlay on clothing.

We are also looking to run a cricket clothing exchange at Tuesday night training to help you and give kit an extended life.
