Shiv Jhala at Lords and the MCC

On 8 may 2016 Horton's own Shiv Jhala played for Bedford School for Boys 1st XI vs the MCC.

He bowled and got 5 MCC wickets. Returning figures of 10-1-26-5

For this achievement he was invited to Lords in 2018 (during the Eng vs SA test match) for a presentation on the Lords outfield in front of the pavilion. The presentation was also announced on the tannoy and his name with his figures shown on the scoreboard in-front of a packed house of over 30,000 cricket fans

And also for this achievement.. he was asked to join the MCC playing membership and is currently going thru with his probation with the MCC

And in his 1st ever representative MCC game (which happened to be against Horton) he bagged 5 HHCC wicket returning figures of 5 for 59.
