Horton House is located in the picturesque village of Horton in Northamptonshire. Very much a blank canvas, the club can be decorated to suit the occasion and with its own private entrance and parking, you and your guests will enjoy the view from the spacious clubhouse.

Hire Charges

The Club House is charged out at £37.50 per hour. The staffed bar is £25 an hour.

Residents of the parish of Horton and Hackleton get a 20% discount on the hire.

Members of Horton House Cricket Club also get a 20% discount.

Pitch Hire

To hire the whole venue to play cricket there is an additional charge of £575 per day. This includes a prepared wicket and mowed outfield as well as access to the pavilion.

Terms of Hire

SECURITY DEPOSIT: We charge all new regular hirers and all one-off party hires a £200 fully refundable deposit at the time of booking the hall. Assuming that everything is okay with your hire, the deposit will be returned to you next week. The Committee reserve the right to increase the security deposit payable for any hire where they suspect that damage or failure to comply with their T's & C's may occur.

USAGE: You must not use the premises (including the car park, if any) for any purpose other than that described in the Agreement and must not sub-hire or use the premises or allow the premises to be used for any unlawful or unsuitable purpose or in any unlawful way nor do anything or bring on to the premises anything which might endanger the premises or render invalid any insurance policies covering the premises nor allow the consumption of alcohol without our written permission.

ALTERATIONS: You must not make any alterations or additions to the premises nor install or attach any fixtures or placards,decorations or other articles in any way to any part of the premises. Usage of nails, sticky tape and blu-tac are prohibited.

BOOKING CONFIRMATION: The hall booking is not secured until the security deposit has been received. The hall hire cost is 14 days before the hire date.

PAYMENT: Payment for both the deposit and hire payment is preferred by Bank Transfer, but if this is not possible, we will take cash payment.

13TH, 16TH, 18TH & 21ST BIRTHDAYS: Horton House Cricket Club does not take bookings for private birthday parties for anyone aged 13 to 21.

TEENAGERS!: We do not accept bookings for any large group of teenagers for large events such as end-of-school-year parties or Halloween.

ALCOHOL: Under the terms of our premises licence, NO alcohol can be brought into the venue by either outside caterers or individuals for ANY hire. We will be happy to arrange a bar for you at the venue for your function.

DOOR SECURITY: For certain functions, the committee may request that a qualified door supervisor is in place when the party is in progress and the bar is open.

FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THE VENUE'S TERMS AND CONDITIONS WILL INCLUDE CANCELLATION OF YOUR BOOKING EITHER BEFOREHAND OR WHILST IN PROGRESS AND RETENTION OF THE SECURITY DEPOSIT.
