AGM Results: Committee Confirmed for 2027

Following the club’s Annual General Meeting on Friday 2nd October, we are pleased to confirm the Committee that will lead the club into 2027.

The elected officers confirmed at the AGM are:

Chairperson – Paul Das
Treasurer – Ian Street
Secretary – Neil Humphrey
Bar Secretary – Dan Cooke
Welfare Officer – TBC
Club Captain – Will Smith

The Committee has also confirmed the non-elected roles that will form part of the wider Committee for 2027, with responsibility for key areas across the club.

Head of Cricket – Will Smith

Will Smith will continue as Head of Cricket, overseeing all cricket at Horton House and supporting the Head of Ladies and Girls and Head of Juniors.

Alongside his role as Club Captain, Will will help ensure a joined-up approach across our senior, ladies, girls and junior cricket programmes as we continue to develop cricket throughout the club.

Head of Ladies and Girls – Kathryn Monk

Kathryn Monk will continue as Head of Ladies and Girls, driving the continued development and growth of ladies' and girls' cricket at the club.

Kathryn will lead this important area of the club as we look to build on the progress already made and create further opportunities for women and girls to enjoy their cricket at Horton House.

Head of Juniors – Paul Das

Paul Das will continue as Head of Juniors, managing junior cricket at the club and leading the Junior Committee.

The junior section remains a hugely important part of the club, and Paul and the Junior Committee will continue their work to provide a positive pathway for young cricketers to develop, enjoy the game and progress through the club.

Head of Grounds – Paul Ruff

Paul Ruff will continue as Head of Grounds, leading the Grounds Team across both Denton Road and Bozeat.

Paul and the team will oversee the preparation and maintenance of our playing facilities across both grounds, helping to provide the best possible environment for cricket throughout the season.

Looking Ahead to 2027

With the elected and non-elected positions confirmed, the Committee can now begin preparations for the 2027 season.

The club would like to thank everyone who attended the AGM, as well as all those who have volunteered to take on roles for the year ahead. A huge amount of work goes on behind the scenes to keep the club running and moving forward, and we are grateful to everyone who gives their time to support Horton House.

We look forward to working together and building towards another exciting year for the club in 2027
