An all too familiar site

We turned up to Denton Road on a scorcher of a day ready to get to work.

Winning the toss for the second time in a row we decided to have a bat on what looked like a lovely pitch.

Some good bowling from the ON's bowlers and some poor shot selection saw us fall in to a slump. Kiron Das got his head down to grind his way to a score in the 20's an a beautiful counter attacking display from Finley Moffat saw us all out for 104. Not good enough.

However walking out we knew we had defended scores like this previously.

An excellent opening spell from James Dadge, who was unlucky to finish with 1 wicket, gave us some hope. Unfortunately with the score we had there wasn't enough pressure and ON's cruised to an easy win 1 wicket down.
