Horton House CC - 3rd XI vs. Raunds Town CC - 2nd XI

Toss won by Heyford - put us in to bat.

Steady start with Paul Wolstenholme and Mike McDonnell getting us to 50/1. Mike scored a fine 50 . Final total of 135/9 off 45 overs.

Good start in the field , kept Heyford to 50/0 off the first 18 overs,with tight bowling from Kev and Paul. Had a catch behind given not out . Heyford accelerated and reached target in 28.3 overs for loss of 3 wickets. Wickets for James Dadge(with his 1st ball) , Ian Street and Elliott Cantrell.

Overall an encouraging start to the season in wild conditions. Saw signs that we will do well in future games.
