Two welcome editions to the squad from U10 County of Oscar Herbert and Joe Willard this week. With Joe Captain and keeper we keep on with the bowlers and keepers looking after field positions and bowling ethos. Horton House to bowl first.
Bowling:
With 2 leg byes and 2 byes over 16 of our overs give credit to a fine performance of the bowling control and keeping. Wides pleasingly were also minimal and again good performance on keeping wicket taking deliveries in our arsenal. Top of the wicket takers, Aaryn and 2 for Eashaan, just showed how important bowling to off and the stumps can provide so many good results. Tidy bowling also with a wicket each for Fenton, Oscar and Krish.
Fielding:
Good, good control of the game with regular backing up and use of in-game adjustments. Catch of the match, probably the season, goes to Oscar who found himself underneath a very high ball, running away from the wicket and catching over his right shoulder. More catches later on and also good support to the team from Joe and Eashaan.
