U13s v Brixworth away

We batted first and made a solid 93 for 3 off 20 overs. Harvey Cooke (20) and Josh Kilsby (12) put on a solid 35 for the first wicket and Tom Hilton with a classy 30 (retired) and useful runs were made by Olly Pagnell, Freya Humphrey and Ben Meecham.
We agreed that everyone would bowl 2 overs and that we would try to defend the total through solid bowling to a good length and that is pretty much what we did. Tom (2-0-2-2) and Josh (2-0-4-1) were the pick of the bowlers and we won by 2 runs although it was never that close....
Everyone contributed well so everyone won man of the match.
